Quick Brown Fox in Pyrmont: Unveiling Alfresco Adventures and Delectable Discoveries with Luna
Hey there,
We trust you've had a splendid week and, for many of us, it's back to work, strategising our ambitions for 2024. Whatever your aspirations may be, remember to allocate time for your loved ones, including our cherished furry companions, who eagerly anticipate our daily company. In this edition, we ventured to Pyrmont, a location we hadn't explored in months, and fortuitously, the weather was ideal for open-air dining.
Without further ado, let's dive in!

Our Experience
Quick Brown Fox Entrance
Our arrival in Pyrmont around noon was met with abundant parking along the road opposite The Star Casino. However, it was a ticketed 1P parking space, necessitating a return trip to extend our parking time to fully savour our Saturday luncheon.
Outdoor Seating Area
Inside, no tables were available, but a few dogs were comfortably seated, indicating their pet-friendly policy for less favourable weather.
The atmosphere was cheerful, with both staff and customers beaming. Our cafe neighbours and passers-by stopped to interact with Luna, who reciprocated their affection warmly.

Food Menu

Drinks Menu Part 1

Drinks Menu Part 2
The menu featured classic Australian cafe fare, from Avo Toast to Chicken Sandwich, but the extensive three-page drinks menu was particularly noteworthy, offering a delightful selection for weekend enjoyment.
Waffle Benedict
My wife, torn between the fresh toast and waffle benedict, ultimately chose the latter, preferring savoury over sweet. The poached eggs were impeccably cooked, and the sauce was heavenly.
XO Congee
I selected the Chef's Favourite - the XO Congee, a dish I gravitate towards if available. The congee was delectable, though a larger portion would have been more satisfying, as hunger pangs returned a mere two hours later.

Luna Staring Into Space
While some dogs were comfortably seated indoors, we got an outdoor spot with ample shade.
Doggy Amenities
It's advisable to bring a water bottle for your doggy as we didn't spot a communal water bowl.

Would we revisit? Certainly, if we find ourselves in Pyrmont again.

Quote of the week
I sometimes look into the face of my dog Stan and see a wistful sadness and existential angst, when all he is actually doing is slowly scanning the ceiling for flies.
Wishing you a magnificent Friday and a delightful weekend!
